Roller Camshafts

PMI’s extensive development of roller cams and followers for the OHC-6 results in a family of roller cams with profiles as aggressive as any modern street, strip or race cams. Without the burden of pushrods and rocker arms, the RPM capability of our roller cams is unmatched in the Inline-6 arena.

Roller Stage I

PMI’s Stage 1 roller cam offers the same factory-inspired street manners as the venerable “H” cam but with more emphasis on low end torque.  Complement this cam with our equal length headers and intake manifold for unbelievable performance both on the street and at the track.

Roller Stage II

PMI’s Stage 2 roller cam makes use of very aggressive profiles to maximize the lift vs. flow of a ported head. This cam will give your OHC-6 stronger launches and faster windups.  Designed to match our tuned-length headers and equal-length intake manifold, this cam pushes the power and torque curves to new limits.

Roller Stage R

Our race-only roller cam pushes the power band higher than ever.  With an RPM capability of over 8,000, this is a no-compromise cam. Tuned headers and intake are a must, along with a stronger-than-factory performance rated bottom end.

Roller Followers

One of the most significant advances in the OHC valvetrain since the motor's original inception, PMI is developing our own design custom roller follower.  This follower set will be compatible with stock lash adjusters and valvetrain geometry.  If your springs can handle the added lift from these 1.9:1 ratio followers, you need only install them and reinstall the camshaft/cam cover assembly.  Contact PMI for installation information, pricing and availability.
