Intake Manifolds

Designed with modern engineering tools and flow-bench tested, all PMI intake manifolds feature dual mounting patterns for most square-bore and spread bore carburetors. All cast manifolds have EFI injector bosses cast in.

Aluminum 4-Bbl Sprint Intake Manifolds

PMI's Aluminum 4-Bbl. Sprint Manifold incorporates improvements over the stock 4-Bbl intake. Improvements consist of smoother runner surfaces and improved flow distribution within the runners. Weight is naturally considerably lower than the stock cast iron piece. Not only does it provide improved bolt-on performance over a 4-Bbl. Intake manifold, but the improvements over the factory 1-Bbl. intake are considerable.  Stock linkage will bolt right up, or contact PMI with your custom linkage requirements.

Cast Aluminum Equal-Length Runner 4-Bbl intake manifold

PMI has developed and test-proven several designs of equal-length runner intake manifolds.  Improved torque curve, wider power band and better throttle response are the main benefits of equal-length runner intake manifolds. Our high-strength cast Aluminum equal-length 4-Bbl is the best cost-effective advancement over the factory Sprint 4-Bbl.  All we need now is a cool name for it.

Supercharger Intake manifolds

PMI offers the only off-the-shelf Aluminum OHC-6 Supercharger intake manifolds for two of the most popular blower designs in history: the GMC 4-71 and the Eaton M90. These manifolds feature cast-in fuel injector bosses for optional fuel injection applications and backfire pressure relief plates. Combined with one of PMI’s advanced forced-induction camshafts, carburetors or throttle bodies, you will experience true instant throttle response and remarkable performance improvements from idle to redline.

Custom Fabricated Intake Manifolds

PMI's extensive design and fabrication capabilities allow us to offer custom intake manifold construction services.  We keep motors and chassis on-hand to fabricate custom intake and exhaust systems, guaranteeing perfect fits.  If you can dream it, we can build it for you.  Just make sure you have a 1966-1967 "A" body, a First Generation "F" body, or a 1968-1969 "A" body.

Over-the-top

The over-the-top approach mounts the induction system on the passenger side of the head, routing the intake runners over the top of the cam tower.  This allows long, equal-length runners boosting low-end torque.  Virtually any induction system to be used (Single / multiple carbs or EFI.)  Provide your engine specifications and we will dyno-tune the runner lengths for you.

S.R.I. (Six Runner Intake)

PMI’s SRI was originally developed during our DOHC-6 project. The SRI performance gains come from six individual throttle plates, as in a port-injection or triple-Weber layout. Throttle response is instant and the gain in low-end torque is remarkable. The SRI is available with injector bosses and mounting flanges for six individual throttle bodies or three side-draft Weber carbs.

Single Turbocharger

PMI’s single turbo intake/exhaust is a custom built system. We offer several intake routing options, so please contact us with your requirements. Our turbo of choice is the Garret T03 or the hybrid T03/4 for a single turbo application.

Twin Turbocharger

When you are ready to take it past the “next level,” PMI’s twin turbo system would be the ultimate forced induction system for your OHC.
