Cylinder Heads:

PMI offers completely machined Cylinder head assemblies incorporating our high-performance valvetrain components.  All cylinder heads are 100% inspected for integrity, thermal cleaned and rebuilt using only high-performance components.

Each head includes:

• 6 Forged, 1-piece stainless steel intake valves with undercut swirl-polished and chrome-plated stems;
• 6 Forged, 1-piece stainless steel exhaust valves with undercut swirl-polished and chrome-plated stems;
• 6 Hardened exhaust valve seats;
• 12 Chrome Vanadium springs;
• 12 Hardened retainer & keeper sets;
• 12 Viton positive valve stem seals;
• 12 Bronze valve guide liners, match-honed to the valves;
• Correct tip height and tolerance set to your cam specifications;
• All new brass core and oil gallery plugs;
• Seat and open pressures set;
• Correct Pontiac Metallic Blue paint;
• Resurfaced for a true, flat seal against the head gasket.

All threaded holes are tap-chased.  Oil passages are thoroughly cleaned.  We install a new oil pressure metering tube and plugs in the heater nipple and temperature sending unit openings.
