Primatech Motorsports International (PMI) was formed during the summer of 2004 by Brent Hougestol and Quenton Olson.  Three divisions were established: PMI USA in the United States - based in Southern California; PMI Canada - based in Calgary, Alberta and PMI Europe - based in Germany.

PMI’s founding partners early on focused their efforts on the Pontiac OHC-6, looking for improvements not only in the base model but in the hotter cammed Sprint engine as well.  Always considered a viable but under-developed motor, the Pontiac OHC-6 had unfortunately remained neglected and overlooked by the aftermarket industry. After searching in vain for any performance parts and many basic replacement parts, we are now committed to designing and building high performance street, strip and racing components for your OHC and the cars that they power. Step inside and see where we want to take this engine.

The primary goal of PMI is the design, engineering and manufacturing of products to enhance the performance of your ride.  From innovative transmission shifters to radical high-performance camshafts, PMI brings years of engineering, fabrication and production know-how to each and every performance product offered.  With our backgrounds in racing car engineering & fabrication and aerospace design & production, no challenge is beyond our reach.  Both company founders have a long history of squeezing performance from unique engines and vehicles, and have proven their abilities in competition.  Lessons learned from the track, dyno and flow bench are put back into our products to provide the best performance value.

From intake to exhaust and pistons to flywheel - and everything in between - PMI makes no compromises in the engineering and production of every component and system.  Performance packages designed to work together, along with a long list of stand-alone components, are available for a broad range of engines.

Where there is room for improvement, PMI improves.  You won't be spending cash for flash.
